TVLC in Tucson Seeks Part-Time Worship Leader for Growing Modern Worship Service

Tanque Verde Lutheran Church (TVLC) in Tucson, AZ, is excited to announce an opportunity for a part-time worship leader to join our dynamic, multi-generational congregation. We are seeking a musically gifted individual who is passionate about leading others in worship and contributing to our vibrant worship community.

The worship leader will provide both instrumental and vocal leadership for our modern worship service, held at 10:30 am on Sundays. This role involves working closely with our pastors to plan weekly music, recruiting and training volunteer band members, leading rehearsals, and guiding the congregation in worship through song.

Our ideal candidate is someone who not only possesses a high level of musical ability but also has a deep knowledge of contemporary Christian music. This person will help create an environment that uplifts and encourages our congregation, fostering a space where all feel welcome to express their faith.

The worship leader will also be responsible for preparing and organizing weekly Mediashout worship slides, participating in special services throughout the year, and maintaining positive relationships with our church members and staff. The position offers a flexible schedule with an expected commitment of 10 hours per week.
