FAQs
Why do we travel to Las Vegas?
Our synod is geographically broad, and to include all our members, we rotate our synod assemblies between the three urban areas that stretch across the breadth of our synod: Tucson, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.
What is being done to lower costs for congregations?
We are making sure our assembly is more affordable this year by making sure that congregations don’t’ have to pay hotel costs on Friday night, when the price significantly increases. Also, most synods have their assemblies in hotel conference rooms, which are significantly more expensive than holding them in our host churches.
Where should voting members stay during the 2025 Synod Assembly?
This year, we do not have any official partner accommodations for the 2025 Synod Assembly. Congregations are encouraged to choose lodging options that best suit their needs and budgets. With a variety of hotels near Community Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, we trust you will find accommodations that work well for your voting members.
