“Women on the Move”: Kino Conference Spring Gathering Set for March 8

Women of the Kino Conference are invited to the annual Spring Gathering on March 8, 2025, at Streams in the Desert Lutheran Church in Tucson around the theme “Women on the Move” (Ruth 1:16). The event features a special program from Teen Challenge of Arizona’s Springboard Home for Girls, a fashion show, and a pop-up boutique from Blessingdales Boutique. Women from across the Kino Conference are invited to gather for a day of faith, fellowship, and inspiration at the annual Spring Gathering on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at Streams in the Desert Lutheran Church (5360 E Pima St, Tucson, AZ). This year’s theme, “Women on the Move,” is drawn from Ruth 1:16: “Where you go, I will go; and where you stay, I will stay.”

The event will feature a special program from Teen Challenge of Arizona’s Springboard Home for Girls, followed by a fashion show presented by the young women of Springboard and a pop-up boutique from Blessingdales Boutique. Attendees will also have the opportunity to contribute to the Sister Jose Women’s Center Outreach Project by bringing new women’s socks and underwear (all sizes) as in-kind gifts.

Registration is $20 per person and is due by February 28, 2025. No registrations will be accepted at the door.

As part of the event’s mission focus, the Unit Love Offering will support Women of the ELCA Grand Canyon Synod, while the Worship Offering will be evenly split between Springboard Home and Sister Jose Women’s Center.
