Spirited Advent continues on December 17, 2023

As the festive season fast approaches, it's easy to get lost in the whirlwind of holiday preparations and end-of-year busyness. But this year, why not take a step back and embark on a journey of the soul? The Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center invites you to join "Spirited Advent: My Soul Magnifies the Lord," an online soul journey guided by the figure of Mary, the mother of Christ.

Every Sunday during Advent, starting December 3 and concluding on Saturday, December 23, 2023, Spirit in the Desert offers a unique opportunity to pause, reflect, and find spiritual replenishment. Hosted by Sheri Brown, these 30-minute online gatherings are a sanctuary for contemplation and connection under the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love.

Using Mary's Magnificat as a guide, participants will explore the depths of their own soul's "unique begotten-ness." It's an invitation to delve into personal revelations and to marvel at the mysteries of faith. From expressing gratitude and awe to acknowledging our vulnerabilities and embracing divine love, each session promises a profound journey.
