As we enter the season of Lent, ELCA World Hunger offers new resources to guide your congregation’s journey of reflection and action. A five-session study guide, daily devotional calendar, and congregational action guide provide meaningful ways to engage with stories of resilience and justice. These resources encourage deeper spiritual connection while supporting efforts to end hunger in communities worldwide. Learn more here.

In publishing news, Living Lutheran is making a return to print with a quarterly format! The beloved magazine will continue to share faith-filled stories and updates from across the ELCA. Individual subscriptions are $19.95 per year, while congregations can purchase group subscriptions for $17 per subscriber (minimum of 10 copies). Sign up at livinglutheran.org/subscribe.

We also highlight the work of Nuestro Casa para Todos in Puerto Rico, a new ELCA ministry supporting students and neighbors of the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras. Led by Pastor Ignacio Estrada, this vibrant ministry embraces the call to be a house for all. Read more about how this community is fostering faith and belonging.

Additionally, Bishop Eaton has issued a response addressing misinformation circulating about ELCA funding. She reaffirms our commitment to serving with our Lutheran partners and encourages the church to remain steadfast in our shared mission.

Finally, in honor of Black History Month, we celebrate 19 Black Lutherans who have shaped the church’s history. The Racial Justice Ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansing, Pa., created a powerful display honoring their contributions.
