Across the Grand Canyon Synod faithful leaders agree that the burden to pay for seminary is too heavy. Retired pastors, current pastors and lay leaders decided to help alleviate the burden by raising funds at an annual golf tournament and putting that money to the Funds for Leaders Scholarship. This year golf tournaments will be held in Oro Valley and Glendale, AZ. As a previous Fund for Leader Scholarship recipient and with current FFL recipients, it is my honor to celebrate with these faithful servants and remind them they have been blessed to be a blessing and we get to raise up leaders together.
