Faith Lutheran Church in Phoenix Seeks Director of Music Ministries
Faith Lutheran Church in Phoenix, Arizona, is inviting applications for a part-time Director of Music Ministries. This pivotal role serves as a primary worship leader, guiding and enriching the congregation’s musical and liturgical life. The Director of Music Ministries is both an organist and choir director, partnering with the pastors and Worship Ministries Coordinator to foster the vibrant worship tradition that defines Faith Lutheran Church.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Sunday 9:00 a.m. English liturgies, seasonal, and holy day worship services.
Direct the choir during weekly evening rehearsals (September–May) and during Sunday worship.
Play the 57-rank Moller pipe organ and Baldwin grand piano to support and inspire congregational song.
This part-time position (10–15 hours per week) offers a base salary of $24,000 annually, along with four weeks of paid vacation. Hours may vary by season, reflecting the rhythm of the liturgical calendar.
