Supporting Family Caregivers in Faith Communities: A Workshop for Faith Community Nurses
Caregiving is both a profound act of love and an exhausting responsibility. Family caregivers often find themselves disconnected from their faith communities, facing barriers that make receiving support difficult. To address this challenge, the Lutheran Faith Community Nurse Association (LFCNA) is offering a timely and insightful workshop designed for faith community nurses and those passionate about caregiver support.
Event Details:
• Date: January 23, 2025
• Time: 4–6 PM PT, 5–7 PM MT
• Cost: $30 for LFCNA members, $50 for non-members

Participants will gain:
Four practical ways to support family caregivers within faith communities.
An understanding of two common barriers to providing caregiver support.
Insights into how caregiving responsibilities can lead to disconnection from faith communities—and ways to address this.
This two-hour virtual session will also provide 2.0 Nursing Contact Hours, approved by the Montana Nurses Association. To receive contact hours, attendees must complete the entire event and submit an evaluation form.
Why This Workshop Matters
Grounded in Lutheran theology, this session reflects our commitment to holistic care—supporting not just the physical but also the emotional and spiritual well-being of caregivers. Family caregivers are vital to our communities, yet they often carry their burdens in isolation. By equipping faith community nurses with the tools to support these caregivers, we live out our call to serve one another in love (Galatians 5:13).
Register today and join us in learning how to extend Christ’s compassion to those who provide care every day.
