Churchwide Assembly Needs You! Volunteer Webinars on 2/26 & 3/4

Help Make Churchwide Assembly Happen: Volunteer Info Sessions on Feb. 26 & March 4

The Grand Canyon Synod is honored to host the 2025 ELCA Churchwide Assembly, the primary decision-making gathering of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This event, held every three years, brings together leaders from across the church for worship, discernment, and decision-making that shapes the future of our shared ministry.

As the host synod, we have an incredible opportunity to welcome and serve the wider church—and we need your help! We’re looking for up to 100 volunteers to assist with registration, hospitality, worship support, tech assistance, and more.

To learn how you can be part of this important event, join us for one of our upcoming Zoom webinars hosted by our Volunteer Coordinator, Mary Beth Baron. She’ll provide an overview of the assembly, walk through volunteer roles, and answer any questions you may have.
