Cancellation Notice: No Cactus Conference Spring Gathering This Year

We regret to announce that the Cactus Conference Spring Gathering, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 22, at Gloria de Cristo Lutheran Church in Yuma, AZ, has been canceled.

This event, themed “Peace and Unity: Borders and Neighbors,” was set to bring together Lutheran women from across the Grand Canyon Synod for a day of learning, fellowship, and faith in action. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the gathering will no longer take place this year.

We deeply appreciate the work and dedication that went into planning this event, especially from Gloria de Cristo Lutheran Church and all those who were preparing to welcome participants. We also want to recognize Hunter’s Army, the planned outreach recipient, and encourage those who feel called to continue supporting their mission of assisting families and children facing medical challenges.

While this cancellation is disappointing, we look forward to future opportunities to gather in faith, service, and community. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your Cactus Conference leadership.
