The Installation service for Pastor John Maroni will be on Saturday, 5/14/2022 at 10am MST at Shepherd of the Desert in Sun City. Clergy are invited to vest, and the color of the day is white. Rev. Pat Reed will be preaching.

Prayers for the Defassio family

We pray for the family of Elijah Defassio, who died unexpectedly August 4, 2021. Elijah is the son of the Rev. Dr. Daniel Defassio, pastor at Shepherd of the Desert, Sun City, who entered the church triumphant on January 22, 2021.

In Memoriam: Rev. Dr. Daniel Defassio

The Rev. Dr. Daniel Defassio, pastor at Shepherd of the Desert, Sun City, entered the church triumphant on January 22, 2021. He died of complications of Covid-19.

Prayers for the family of Pastor John Cockram

We pray for the family of Pastor John Cockram who passed away on May 23rd. Pastor John retired to Oregon, but served in the Grand Canyon Synod at Shepherd of the Desert in in Sun City and at Prince of Peace in Phoenix. May he rest in God’s eternal peace.
