Sea of Galilee meets Silicon Valley: Artificial Intelligence, Faith Communities and Faith
The Cactus Conference Women’s Gathering invites you to explore the dynamic intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), faith communities, and personal belief. This engaging and thought-provoking event, “Sea of Galilee meets Silicon Valley: Artificial Intelligence, Faith Communities and Faith” will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, 8:30 am – 2:15 pm, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City West, Arizona (13724 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, AZ 85375). View a PDF for info and registration here.
Our keynote speaker, Brian Flatgard, the Director of Communications for the Grand Canyon Synod, will lead two morning sessions that delve into the implications of AI on faith and community. This is a unique opportunity to understand how technology and faith not only coexist but can complement each other in today's rapidly evolving world.
Post-lunch, attendees will be inspired by talks from esteemed women’s ministry leaders Myrna Wells-Ulland, Laura Krueger, and Suki Kisling. The gathering will conclude with a spiritual note through a closing communion service.
Reflecting on the wisdom from above as cited in James 3:17, this gathering is a call for peace-loving, considerate, and sincere exploration of faith in the age of AI. An outreach project focused on Katie’s Fund will also be presented, providing an avenue for offering and support.
Registration is $15 per person, which includes morning refreshments and lunch. Don’t miss this chance to be part of a conversation that shapes the future of faith in the digital age.
