Prayers and Blessings for Flagstaff’s Episcopal and Lutheran Campus Ministry
As the new academic year approaches, we lift up in prayer Rev. Michael Girlinghouse and the community of The Episcopal and Lutheran Young Adult and Campus Ministries in Flagstaff, part of the High Country Conference. Serving Northern Arizona University, Coconino Community College, and the greater Flagstaff community, this ministry is a vibrant and inclusive space where students, faculty, staff, and young adults from all walks of life come together.
Located in the heart of Flagstaff, this Reconciling in Christ ministry actively affirms and welcomes people of all ethnicities, races, national origins, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Supported by both the Lutheran and Episcopal churches, the ministry provides a place where everyone can feel at home, no matter their background or identity.
As we approach the start of the new academic year, services will resume on Sunday, August 25th, and Meditation sessions will begin on Wednesday, September 4th. This ministry’s commitment to inclusion and equity is a powerful witness to the love of Christ, and we are grateful for their ongoing work in the Flagstaff community.
Let us keep Rev. Girlinghouse and the entire ministry in our prayers as they prepare for the new year, asking God to bless their efforts to create a welcoming and affirming space for all.
