Faithful Engagement: Events & Advocacy Opportunities This February

As people of faith, we are called to pray, advocate, and gather in community. This February, the Arizona Faith Network (AFN) invites us to participate in a variety of events and initiatives that connect faith to action. Whether you are interested in voting rights, spiritual reflection, environmental stewardship, or justice advocacy, there are meaningful ways to get involved.

Faithful Voter AZ (Voting Rights) Committee

Protecting Our Congregations: Know Your Rights Training Recap

At the request of Arizona bishops and judicatory leaders, faith communities recently gathered to address the impact of new federal policies on immigrant rights and congregational safety. If you missed this important event, slides and resources are available, including an “Emergency Phone Tree for Houses of Worship.” A second training is being planned—stay tuned!

Black History Month & Community Events

February is Black History Month, a time to celebrate and reflect on the contributions of Black leaders past and present. Additionally, there are several upcoming events to strengthen interfaith connections and social justice efforts:
