This person will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well functioning. The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.
Manage the maintenance activities required to preserve the integrity of all systems and buildings
Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary
Respond to system failures as needed. Work in partnership with Administration and campus coordinators regarding maintenance and budget decisions
Oversee the activities of Property Team members
Work with systems vendors/contractors to understand and oversee the repair and replacement of equipment
Ensure compliance with all warranties, safety and security protocols
Manage master calendar activities pertaining to facility services
perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Manage all inspections
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
2. Good communication skills with others is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
High School graduate with experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
REQUIRED MEETINGS TO ATTEND:
Weekly staff meetings; normally around 11:00 a.m. Mondays.
STATUS: Part time salaried working approximately 15 hours per week, year round.
