Lutheran Adventurer & National Parks Expert Brings Inspiring Film to Arizona

If you’ve ever been inspired by faith-filled journeys or breathtaking landscapes, you won’t want to miss the upcoming screening of Canyon Chorus, a short film by Lutheran pastor’s kid and renowned National Parks adventurer Mikah Meyer.

From 2016 to 2019, Meyer set a world record by visiting all 400+ National Park Service sites, bringing a message of faith and inclusion to over 113 ELCA congregations along the way—including Emmanuel Lutheran in Prescott Valley. His journey was covered in Living Lutheran (read the article here). Now, his adventure is taking center stage at the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour, which brings the world’s best outdoor films to locations across the globe.

Join Mikah Meyer in Tempe on March 14 at 7:00 PM at Pollack Tempe Cinemas for this special screening of Canyon Chorus. The 16-minute film explores Meyer’s deep connection between faith, music, and the great outdoors—an inspiring reflection of God’s creation and the call to explore it with gratitude.
