Deacon Janice Zimbelman will be participating, and is looking for rostered and lay leaders to join her in this journey of learning and growing.
What is Excellence in Leadership?
Excellence in Leadership is a journey—a journey that begins with the knowledge that the church and the world are in need of healthy leaders to help us take the next right step into whatever the future might bring.
Who is Excellence in Leadership for?
· Any and all leaders interested in becoming more emotionally intelligent, adaptively aware, and desiring to dive deeply into the hard work of grappling with the emerging future
· Rostered leaders and the lay person
· Individuals or groups
· The curious and the courageous
· YOU!
Why should I participate?
Excellence in Leadership is a brave and safe space for leaders to deepen their self and community awareness while also building relationships with other leaders doing the same. As a result, participants grow to be more resilient in times of anxiety, more faithful in times of doubt, and more courageous and mature in times of conflict and frustration.
The world needs people willing to engage in difficult, but important, conversations and situations. Excellence in Leadership will help equip you for these.
The Logistics
Excellence in Leadership is an 18-month online encounter with large and small group meetings in which participants struggle, learn, and grow together.
The cost is $500 per school year ($1000 total). Additional costs may include book purchase (only 1 is required).
The course is led by leaders of the Rocky Mountain Synod of the ELCA.
