POSITION FILLED: Church Office Administrator needed at Faith Lutheran, Phoenix

The Faith Lutheran Church Office Administrator is a part-time role of approximately 20-25 hours per week.  This is an in-office role on our campus located at 801 E. Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ.  Hours are flexible, but generally follow our church office hours of 9am – 1pm weekdays.  Our Office Administrator is often the voice of our church for those outside and inside of our congregation, therefore excellent communication skills are necessary (verbal and written).  The primary language requirement is English, however some degree of fluency in Spanish would also be valuable as we offer worship in both languages.  The ideal candidate must have strong planning and organization skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and complete deadline driven tasks.  The Office Administrator is directly responsible to the Pastor and Executive Team.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Office hours (phone and in-person reception, inquiries, scheduling, and appointments)

  • Bulletin and communication preparation

  • Coordination of facility use and schedule including outside groups and preschool

  • Coordination of office/campus volunteers

  • General administrative work on behalf of the Pastor, Director of Music, Council, and Church Ministry Teams
