All Valley Young Adults: New Monthly Events Bring Community Together
With the excitement and momentum from the recent ELCA Young Adult Gathering still resonating, we are thrilled to announce a new opportunity for young adults in the Phoenix area to connect and grow in community. Starting this September, young adults from across the Grand Canyon Synod will have a chance to participate in monthly events designed to foster connection, fun, and spiritual growth.
These monthly gatherings are being spearheaded by young adult leaders from The West Valley Young Adult Community, University Lutheran, First Evangelical, and Our Savior’s Mesa. Under the guidance and support of Pastor Ahriana Dill, Pastor Luis Ochoa, Kim McCracken, and Casey Goslin, these events aim to complement and enhance the existing young adult ministries within our synod.
The first of these monthly events will be held on Monday, September 9th, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Main Event in Tempe. For just $12.99, attendees can enjoy unlimited bowling, with an additional cost for shoe rental. This is a fantastic opportunity for young adults aged 19-35 to meet new people, have some fun, and experience the joy of community in a relaxed setting.
Our goal is to create a space where young adults from all over the Grand Canyon Synod can come together, not to replace their current ministries, but to add to the richness of their faith journey. As we continue to expand, we’re excited to identify and connect with other young adult groups throughout central Phoenix, bringing even more leaders into this vibrant community.
