  • 9 am: Call to order/greetings

  • 9:30 am: Bishop election ELCA representative and first ballot vote

  • 10 am: Worship

  • 11:15 am: Plenary session, financial report and synod business

  • 12 pm: Report of the first ballot

    • Lunch immediately after

  • 1 pm: Plenary session, synod business and present mission plan

  • 1:30 pm: Bible study with Rev. Dr. Colleen Windham Hughes, CLU

  • 2:15 pm: Break

  • 2:30 pm: Deadline to remove your name from Bishop’s election and deadline for changes to mission plan

  •  2:45 pm • Celebrations and recognitions: rostered minister and congregation milestones and anniversaries and volunteer recognition

  • 3:30 pm: Second ballot vote

  • 3:45pm: Workshops. 2 sessions from 3:45-4:30 and 4:45-5:30

  • 5:30 pm: Announce 2nd ballot results / Synod Business

  • 6:15 pm: Buffet dinner

  • 7:15 pm • Top seven questions and answers, followed by third ballot vote

  • Evening activity and business, announce election results, bingo hosted by Suki Kisling of WELCA and Pr. Jacqui Pagel

Saturday, 6/15/2024

  • 8:30 am: Bible study with Rev. Dr. Colleen Windham Hughes, CLU

  • 8:45 am: Synod business

  • 9 am: ELCA rep Deacon John Weit and Bishop Eaton video.

  • 9:20 am Speeches top three and fourth ballot vote

  • 9:20 am Chaplain, Capt Matthew W. Dobyns

  • 9:45 am: Bishop and Synod Council Report

  • 10:30 am: Synod Business

  • 11:00 am: Ballot results, short address by two, followed immediately by fifth ballot vote

  • 11:15 am: Other business

  • 11:30 am: Announce results of fifth ballot

  • 11:30 am: Worship and closing of assembly

  • 12:30 pm: Lunch

  • 12:30 pm: 2024 Diakonia Graduation Ceremony
