From music education for youth to professional development for church musicians, these opportunities can strengthen the ways we engage in worship together.

Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival

Enrollment is now open for the 2025 session of the Lutheran Summer Music (LSM) Academy. This immersive music camp is for high school students who seek to grow in musical excellence while deepening their faith. Participants can experience ensembles, private lessons, and electives such as jazz, handbells, and church music. Priority enrollment ends December 1, with standard enrollment open until March 1. Visit LSMacademy.org for details.

Institute of Liturgical Studies

This annual ecumenical conference will focus on liturgical renewal in today’s church, with a special look at how we engage people during key life moments such as baptisms, weddings, and funerals. The 2025 conference will take place in Valparaiso, Indiana, from April 28-30, 2025.

Music that Makes Community

Music that Makes Community continues its communal song-sharing events across the nation. These events, which emphasize paperless song leadership, are being held in various cities, including Albuquerque, Chicago, and Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Augsburg Fortress Resources

Augsburg Fortress offers new publications such as A Watered Garden, which explores the ecological connections within our worship, and Come, Lord Jesus, a devotional designed for Advent through Epiphany. These resources provide spiritual insights and can support both individual devotion and congregational worship.
