We hope this letter finds you safe and well!

We wanted to follow up with you on the responses that many of you provided regarding the Lay Leadership survey. We were thrilled to find not only that a large majority of our church leaders were interested in chatting with us, but that your responses were overwhelmingly positive, and many of you expressed interest in expanding lay leadership in your congregations.

We sincerely hope that you will consider communicating with your congregation about the Diakonia program and perhaps identify a handful of congregants you believe would be good candidates for this lay-ministry educational program.

As a quick reminder, Diakonia is a two-year educational program that teaches, equips and motivates individuals who choose to respond to their baptismal calling to serve Jesus in all aspects of their daily lives through freely-responsible servanthood.

Classes are beginning to be formed. Please check our website at www.diakoniaaz.org for more information.  All classes will be via Zoom for this fall.
