Arizona, Oregon, and Beyond: Inside Out Network Expands Support

The Inside Out Network (ION) Fall 2024 newsletter is packed with updates on its ongoing initiatives to support incarcerated individuals and returning citizens across multiple states. From Arizona to Oregon, ION’s outreach continues to expand, providing resources and connections to aid reentry and reduce recidivism. One major development is the deployment of ION’s platform on computers in every Arizona prison library. This new approach allows incarcerated individuals to register on ION, connect with service providers, and start building a support network before release. Additionally, ION attended Arizona’s Perryville Resource Fair, connecting with over 500 women nearing release and distributing 336 copies of Spiritual Survival Guides.

The “Color Me Yellow” campaign also returns this November, aiming to raise $70,000 to broaden ION’s platform access and support for those in need across Arizona, Oregon, and beyond. Thanks to last year’s donations, ION has made significant progress, and the new campaign will enable further expansion.

ION’s impact also grows in Mississippi, where a dedicated team has increased service providers to 21 and is working closely with the Department of Corrections. This year’s newsletter spotlights an inspiring visit to the Mississippi State Penitentiary, where incarcerated individuals are training as field ministers, highlighting ION’s role in supporting faith-based transformation.

With each step, ION strengthens connections for returning citizens, whether through prison computer access, community partnerships, or support campaigns. Be sure to read the full newsletter for more on these efforts, including Oregon updates, inspiring success stories, and ION’s new capability to accept stock donations.
